There is a difference in eye exams. Of course, the professionals at Eagle Eye Optique do the refraction, where we determine your prescription. We also spend time checking how your general health may be affecting your eyes such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, and stroke. We test for:

We treat red eye (conjunctivitis), whether bacteria, virus, allergy, or chemical sensitivity causes it. We treat corneal abrasions and remove minor foreign bodies. We check out if those flashes and floaters are normal, or if they are a sign of a very serious retinal detachment. After-hours care is usually available.

When normal glasses or contacts do not provide enough vision, usually due to disease or degeneration, low-vision aids are an option.

We do not do surgery in this practice. However, we work closely with very skilled eye surgeons for pre- and postoperative care of routine cataract surgery or LASIK treatment. Take advantage of the Optomap testing. Your ongoing process is reported to the surgeon.
